The MT-2, Collings’ fully appointed A-Style, with its red spruce top and gorgeous flamed maple back and sides, is perhaps their most desired mandolin due to its perfect balance between relative affordablility and high end appointments such as upgraded binding, a nice feeling V neck with a 1 ⅛ nut, and a great open, bright, wide sound.

This example from 2015 is pretty much the cream of the crop- a Varnish finished, Italian spruce topped, birdseye maple back and sided, tortoise shell bound beauty that has about every upgrade Collings has to offer.

In amazing condition, though there’s a ding or two on the back of the headstock.
