The MT, Collings least expensive (but maybe the best deal) mandolin they make, is every bit as good as their highest end mandolin, just missing the visual appointments that make a 10,000 mandolin that expensive. This particular new MT, with its gloss lacquer top, has a bit of an extra flair over its usually matte finish siblings.

With a lovely choice Sitka spruce top, absolutely incredible flamed maple back and sides and neck, and Waverly tuners, this mandolin is as appointed as most of us will ever need, and sounds incredible to boot!

The nut width is 1 ⅛, with just a slight V profile to the neck, not too big, not too small.
