2018 Wild Flower #12
2018 Wild Flower #12
Made by Fort Collins based luthier Durl Jones, Wild Flower Mandolins are a great intersection of value and sound, made with tone in mind, having been voiced to spec following the deflection method pioneered by Don Macrostie and Roger Siminoff.
This example, #12, was built by Jones in 2018, out of sitka spruce and maple, and was Jones' personal mandolin until this year.
1 1/8th nut, nice woofy, woody sound.
Gold Schaller tuners.
Some scuffs on the horn, top, etc. One repaired slight crack in the side that happened during assembly.
Comes with a foam case.
