2016 Wild Flower #10
2016 Wild Flower #10
Made by Fort Collins based luthier Durl Jones, Wild Flower Mandolins are a great intersection of value and sound, made with tone in mind, having been voiced to spec following the deflection method pioneered by Don Macrostie and Roger Siminoff.
This example, #10, was built by Jones in 2016 using Colorado Blue Spruce sourced by an arborist friend of his who sourced and brought Jones the wood after felling the tree. The back and sides are nice flamed maple.
1 1/8th nut, nice medium sized neck profile, with a half and half ebony and deer antler saddle.
Gold Schaller tuners.
In good shape, with one or two dings on it.
Comes with a hard case.
