Made by Sim Daley, the former head of Gibson production, this great simple A style is an example how simplicity sometimes leads to excellence. Using the simplest pieces of wood possible, Daley made the Classic A into a no nonsense, tone forward A style that has a lovely, woody thunk to the sound, and a nice comforatable V profile neck, that’s been speed necked.

There’s a fair amount of wear, as this was someone’s main mandolin for years, and it’s nice and played in. Included are an already installed strap button and a hand engraved James tailpiece!
