2010 Weber Gallatin Mahogany Mandola
2010 Weber Gallatin Mahogany Mandola
This 2010 Bruce Weber signed Gallatin model mandola has a nice, warm sound, thanks to its Mahogany back and sides, an uncommon but surprisingly apt wood for mandolin construction. Made just two years before Weber was aquired by Two Old Hippies, this mandola is a great example of late period Bruce Weber shop construction, with clean lines and detailed finishing, though the Gallatin model itself is a bare-bones, no nonsense model meant to be the most affordable in the line from the company’s best recognized time in Montana.
1 7/32 nut width, 17 1/16 inch scale.
Very good condition, with just finish wear in the usual hand position at the first fret, and a tiny bit of finish glossing where the pinky grazes the top.
Comes with the original case.
