Built right here in Colorado by Don Paine and his son Josh in 2010 (signed by Josh, though Don likely had a hand in it as well), this Pomeroy octave mandolin is a testament to the type of quality builders can achieve when they spend their entire life perfecting their tonal and design ideals.

With a dark colored Engelmann top, and red maple back and sides, with a big, open, piano like sound, these are absolutely some of the best mandolins on the market, and octaves, a bit of a specialty for the Paines, are no different.

With a 22.5” scale, it’s got lots of sustain as well.

In great shape, with not any substantial amount of wear.
