The MT-2, Collings’ fully appointed A-Style, with its red spruce top and gorgeous flamed maple back and sides, is perhaps their most desired mandolin due to its perfect balance between relative affordablility and high end appointments such as ivoroid binding, a nice feeling V neck with a 1 ⅛ nut, and a great open, bright, wide sound.

This particular example, from 2004, is incredibly clean for its age, with just a few blemishes, rather than scratches, on the top near the fretboard extension. There’s a fair bit of divoting on the first couple frets, but it has not affected playability. Freshly cleaned up and set up and ready for you!
