2003 Rigel Jethro
2003 Rigel Jethro
Built in the spirit of the classic two-point mandolins associated with Jethro Burns, the aptly named “Jethro” is a two point, all solid, hand carved instrument from the manufacturer usually known for their alternative material made mandolins.
Keeping the familiar two-point look, the Jethro has a much more traditional style and build, with an even and responsive tone across styles, with more low end and sustain than you might expect.
This mandolin is fully hand-carved, with eastern rock maple for the back, sides, and neck, paired with an Adirondack red spruce top. Ebony fingerboard, a high-grade adjustable ebony bridge, Grover tuners in gold or nickel, and Rigel’s own tailpiece round things out.
In great shape, with a fresh setup ready to go, and comes with a gig bag.
