Built around 1960, in Chicago by legendary maker of slightly oddball guitars: Valco, this Tosca Thunderstick is a rare two-pickup version of the company’s short-scale solidbody, this being only one of a couple examples we’ve ever seen. The two pickups, which aer mostly likely not hum buckers, but rather oversized single coils, have a strong, punchy sound with clear highs and plenty of output, for that perfect lo-fi sound.

The fairly chunky C-shaped neck has a 22" scale and a Brazilian rosewood fingerboard. The original bone nut measures 1 5/8", and the original Kluson Deluxe tuners remain intact. Original hardware also includes the trapeze tailpiece, rosewood bridge, knobs, and pickguard.

Fairly beat up, but plays excellently!
