Mid 2000's Gretsch Jimmy Vaughan G400JV

$1,950.00

Jimmy Vaughan, brother of famed blues guitarist Stevie Ray Vaughan, is also, surprisingly, known as a prolific collector of archtop guitars, and this mid 2000’s Gretsch G400JV Synchromatic is a nice throwback to the old Gretsch’s that Jimmy’s partial to.

With a “lightbulb” style headstock, 7 ply bound laminate maple body, and a sleek, vintage Gretsch look, this guitar came stock (and is still equipped) with an under-bridge piezo pickup, and this particular model had a Dearmond style pickup installed at some point, though it’s since been removed. The only telltale sign is a divot taken out of the pickguard, but other than that this guitar is in excellent condition, aside from some finish checking.

Comes with a hardshell case.
