2019 PRS Hollowbody II

$4,400.00

Paul Reed Smith founded PRS Guitars in Maryland in 1985, drawing on years of custom building and a knack for blending elements from Gibson and Fender into something new. Early carved-top models with 25" scales and bird inlays quickly set PRS apart, and by the ’90s the company had established itself as a major player in the high-end guitar world. Paul himself has become a bit of a revered figure in the electric guitar community, providing guidance everywhere from conventions to Rick Beato’s YouTube channel.

This guitar, the venerable Hollowbody II (or Hollow II as it’s known in the PRS community) is one of PRS’s flagship semi-hollow designs; a carved figured maple top and back paired with a mahogany center block echos the woodier, more responsive tone of an ES-335 or similar semi-hollow.

This example from 2019 is loaded with the usual PRS 58/15 humbuckers, with a Piezo pickup to boot, switchable between a full magnetic, blend, or piezo output. With its comfortable neck, versatile electronics, and signature PRS finish work, the Hollowbody II has become a go-to model for players who want refinement and flexibility in one package.

This guitar is in great shape, with barely a mark on it.

Comes with the original case.
