Introduced in 2019, the year this guitar was built, the Fender Acoustasonic is Fender’s foray into the world of hybrid electric guitars - a nearly fully hollow body equipped with an acoustic style bridge, coupled with an under saddle piezo and body resonance mic, loaded with custom Fishman electronics, make for a highly flexible sound that, despite some of the flak this guitar received upon announcement, genuinely make for a highly versatile and useful live guitar for acoustic music.

Then, flipping the 5-way all the way down, a modeled Fender amp is put into the signal of the magnetic pickup, making for a very usable, no electric amp needed Tele sound that can be rolled into either clean or slight crunch. Contrary to, well, everyone’s demos, this is ready to go into a pa; plugging it into an electric amp highly distorts the sound in an unpleasant way.

This example is the fairly limited Exotic Wood series, this one being a Zircote top laminate with Black Limba back, sides, and neck, coated in a nice satin finish.

In great shape, basically new, and plays great.
