Built close they did in 1959, this gorgeous Memphis made ES-175 was part of a limited run done in the mid 2010’s, of not-officially-considered Historic Reissues, but essentially Historic Reissues in spirit.

With a maple-poplar-maple ply top, as well as ply maple back and sides, the ES-175 was designed to be feedback resistant, with two PAF style humbuckers routed and mounted directly to the top, and made for a versatile instrument, covering anything from jazz, rockabilly, to the newly popular rock’n roll.

This example was built in the Memphis Custom Shop in 2016, toward the end of its original run.

In excellent shape, with very little play wear, just some scratches here and there.

Comes with the original hard shell case.
