2009 Benedetto Bucky Pizzarelli 5 String

$6,000.00

Built in 2009 at the Benedetto shop in Savannah, Georgia, this 7-string archtop comes from one of the most respected names in the game. Robert Benedetto has been at it since 1969, and while plenty of others have come and gone, his reputation as one of the top-tier archtop builders has held steady for decades.

This model was designed in collaboration with the late Bucky Pizzarelli, who helped put the low A seventh string on the map, along with more modern players like Howard Alden, who also has a signature 7 String Benedetto model.

Specs-wise, it's a 16” archtop with a spruce top, maple back, sides, and neck, and ebony everywhere else you'd expect. The scale length is 25", with 21 frets, and it's loaded with a warm, articulate hand-wound Kent Armstrong humbucker. Overall condition is excellent, and this is a one-owner guitar.

Comes with the original hard shell case.
