Built to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Stratocaster, this 2004 Fender Custom Shop 1954 Stratocaster was Masterbuilt by Yuriy Shishkov as a remarkably faithful recreation of Fender’s original 1954 design.

Just like in ‘54, it sports a two-piece ash body with an offset glue seam, nitrocellulose lacquer finish, and a one-piece maple neck with a period-correct “U” profile. Three Custom Shop Vintage 1954 Stratocaster pickups the construction and sound of the originals, while the body contours, knobs, switch tip, pickguard, pickup covers, tremolo cover, and patent-pending-style bridge saddles were all recreated specifically for the anniversary run.

Fender even had former pre-CBS employee Roger Centeno stamp the tremolo cover plates using the original die. This is a Strat for die-hard Strat lovers!

Comes with a 60’s style Fender Custom Shop brown rectangle case, not the original thermometer case, unfortunately, but the guitar is rearing to go. Has the original writeup from Fender.
