1992 Gibson Howard Roberts Fusion
1992 Gibson Howard Roberts Fusion
Introduced in 1979 as a semi-hollow, dual pickup alternative to his usual oval hole/single pickup signature Gibson archtop, the Howard Roberts fusion was a big leap forward for Gibson in terms of modern styling and functionality. With a huge Florentine cutaway, deep into its laminate maple, semi hollow body, and the “Six Finger” tailpiece allowing for individual tension adjustment for easy playability, the Howard Roberts Fusion is a great, forward thinking guitar from an era where Gibson was often innovating beyond their capability.
Other than that, this 1992 example is a fairly straightforward semi-hollow from the 90’s, with normal Gibson pickups from the era, a 24.75” scale length, 1 11/16 nut, and a great, warm, jazzy sound.
In really good condition, with barely any noticeable marks.
Comes with the original hard case.
