1977 Rickenbacker 360-12

$3,600.00

Rickenbacker, the American manufacture known for making the guitars used by the two guitar-slinging Beatles during the height of Beatlemania, got a very key thing right in their history of manufacturing: they barely changed anything over the years, from the designs, to the pickups, to the build process, even the unusual decision to finish over the rosewood fretboard.

This 1977 360-12, then, is functionally identical to the one George Harrison/John Lennon used in the early Beatles days. With its maple laminate body, maple and walnut neck (replete with space age tuning system) “toaster” pickups and stereo out electronics, this guitar is as jangly and chime-y as any Beatles fan would want.

Great condition, with just some pitting on the chrome and a some finish flaking near the binding.

Comes with the original hard case.
