1973 Harmony H671
1973 Harmony H671
From one of the last years of Harmony’s existence, this 1973 H671 is the Jack White/Dan Auerbach fan’s dream. The H671, a renamed H71, started its life in the 50’s as the single cutaway Meteor, until morphing with the times to compete with the ES-335.
With its signature Dearmond Gold Foil pickups, the H671 has that classic woody, raw sound that bands like the Black Keys and the White Stripes are known for, where, thanks to their un-potted design and feedback prone sound, rock players can get wild with them.
The maple neck features a pretty dang nice rosewood fretboard with pearloid block inlays that plays great. The bridge is a non-original replacement nylon roller bridge to accompany the original Bigsby. The electronics work great and have that great open Harmony sound. Replacement tuners.
Condition wise, this guitar is in pretty good shape except two glaring spots: the serial number has been carved onto the back of the neck for some reason, and an unknown number etched onto the back of one of the horns. Maybe because of these though, this guitar has a great sense of vintage mojo.
Comes with a gig bag.
