One of only 64 made in 2014 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Beatles historic performance on the Ed Sullivan Show, this 500/1 is the iconic Beatle Bass with just a couple changes - most noticeably the fancier gold hardware, as well as an Ed Sullivan Show logo on the pickguard.

The rest of this bass is the same as the normal H500/1-62, the ‘62 reissue from Hofner, made in Germany: a Hollowbody made of flamed maple with spruce top, two-piece maple neck with rosewood fingerboard, a nut width of 1.65”, and a short 30” scale length.

The sunburst finish is in great shape, as is the rest of the instrument, minus a very well done reglue on a a previous headstock break.

Comes with the original Hofner commemorative case.
