Mid 1960's Gibson TB-100

$850.00

This all-original 1965 Gibson TB-100 Tenor Banjo is a classic resonator-style banjo with decades of honest play behind it and plenty of life still ahead. Now 60 or so years old, it's in good condition overall — showing some wear, as you'd expect, but it plays great and has that warm, punchy 60’s banjo tone Gibson was making at the time.

With a maple resonator and a vintage Sunburst finish, paired with a one-piece chrome flange and brass hoop tone ring. The Mahogany neck has a comfortable carve that suits a range of players, and the Rosewood fingerboard has lots of fret left.

With a 23 1/2" scale and 1 3/16" nut, it’s versatile enough for various styles. The original chrome friction tuners are intact, complete with aged white buttons. Comes with an Archtop tone ring.

A solid player with great tone and authentic vintage vibe, this TB-100 is a fine example of Gibson’s work in the banjo world — and a great value for anyone looking to add a bit of history to their lineup. These old TB’s

Comes with an 80’s Gibson hard case.
