Made by Saga Musical Instruments (the company that now makes the excellent modern Gold Star Banjos), Flinthill was a vintage-spec, affordable banjo brand that existed into the mid 2010’s.
This gorgeous 285, made to emulate the RB-6 style Gold Sparkle, or Checkerboard style banjos, is a Gibson spec flathead that sounds way above its price tag. The 20 hole cast flathead tonering gives a tubby, full sound that has a nice vintage twang to it.
Maple rim, maple neck.
Great condition, comes with a case.
