2004 Gibson Earl Scruggs Model

$4,300.00

Originally introduced during the end of the “Norlin Era”, a much maligned period in history, the Gibson Earl Scruggs model became synonymous with Gibson’s return to banjo quality, thank to, soon after, the addition of legend Greg Rich to Gibson’s lineup, revamping Gibson’s whole production situation and bring banjos back to, arguably, as good as they were before the fade off in quality in the 50’s and 60’s.

This Earl Scruggs model, based off of Earl’s 1930 Granada, was built well after Rich left Gibson, but still has all the quality and sound you’d expect from an instrument with Scruggs’ name on it.

All maple construction, with all nickel hardware. Flathead tone ring.

Great shape, minor play wear.

Comes with the original hard shell case.
