1985 OME Triple X Plectrum
1985 OME Triple X Plectrum
Vaguely taking after the old Vega Triple X model from the 20’s and 30’s, the OME Triple-X, made by luthier Chuck Ogsbury in Boulder, CO, is a shoe-on style resonator plectrum banjo that takes its heritage from pre-Mastertone-Gibson four and five strings from the early 20’s century.
This plectrum, with its near 26.25” scale length, has a nice crack to the sound, helped by its Mahogany construction and tone ring which looks to be akin to Gibson’s “lightweight flathead”, a smaller brass tone ring with about 4-5oz less weight.
Amazingly filigreed chrome parts, and in nearly new condition.
Comes with the original OME case.
