c.2016 Pre-War Guitar Co. Slope Shoulder

$6,000.00

Made by Pre-War Guitars, the North Carolina guitar maker known for their one for one recreations of 30’s Martins, including Norman Blake’s incredible (and rare) 12-fret Martin D-28, this beautiful J-45 clone is about as close to a real Banner era Gibson as you can get.

Thought the body shape is a little bit different to avoid Gibson’s usual tendencies toward lawsuits, just a tad rounder at the shoulders, this guitar has all the feel, sound, and look of a 40’s Gibson, thanks to its torrified Adirondack top, Mahogany back and sides, and 1 11/16 nut with nice full baseball bat neck.

We think this is their level “2” finish.

In great shape, plays great.

Comes with a Calton case.
