Fresh from the Collings factory in Austin, TX, this incredible D2H is particularly exemplary of why Collings has earned their spot among the highest regarded builders of all time.

With a 1 ¾ nut, as well as a hybrid C/V modified shaped profile and a compound 14” to 26” radius, this Sitka spruce and Cocobolo (another Dalbergia species often used to replicate Brazilian rosewood tonally and visually) herringbone dreadnought is a little more modern than the “T” series, but still features scalloped pre-WWII style bracing for an immense sound, with a nice open ring to it.

The Sitka spruce top is one of Collings’ “Q Tops”, a service they offer to provide the finest handpicked tops for their guitars.
