Collings D2H-G

$7,615.00

Collings, the Texas based maker of high end acoustics that has become a staple in the rosters of professional guitarists worldwide, released the D2H decades ago, and it’s perhaps their most well respected guitar.

With a 1 ¾ nut, as well as a hybrid C/V modified shaped profile and a compound 14” to 26” radius, this German spruce and Indian rosewood herringbone dreadnought is a little more modern than the “T” series, but still features scalloped pre-WWII style bracing for an immense sound, with a nice open ring to it.

This particular guitar’s tone is as nice as any old Martin we’ve had in, with a bell like quality to rival guitars 10x its price. The ebony fretboard is also bound, as well as the headstock.

The German spruce gives it a huge, metallic sound.

Comes with a premium Collings hard case.
