c.2003 Goodall 12-Fret Dreadnought

$5,400.00

Built by famed luthier and well of luthierie knowledge James Goodall out of his Hawaii-based original shop, this beautiful Goodall 12 Fret Dreadnought is a perfect example of why Goodall has become one of the most respected names in boutique guitars.

With bearclaw Sitka spruce and Indian rosewood, as well as 28 style herringbone purfling, this 12 fret dread is the ideal for that pre-1934 huge piano like sustain made famous by players like Norman Blake.

The large C profile neck has a slightly shorter 25 1/16” scale, as well as a wide 1 27/32nds nut that makes for a very 30’s sized neck and playing experience.

This guitar also features a Frailing style cutaway on the upper frets past the 12th fret, doen at the factory possibly for a more folk-sounding guitar. The ebony bridge and board are in great shape, as well as the finish, though there are a few dings in the top and on the back of the heel.

The frets are low, but still playable.

Comes with the original hard case.
