The Martin 000-28 Modern Deluxe - introduced in 2019, pairs the familiar balance of the 000 body with several updated design features. A VTS-treated Sitka spruce top, Adirondack spruce bracing and East Indian rosewood back and sides give it a clear, even response, with the shorter 24.9" staying true to its 000 form.

Modern components include a carbon-fiber bridge plate, Liquidmetal bridge pins, gold open-gear tuners and flamed-maple binding. The “Vintage Deluxe” mahogany neck offers a subtle taper for easy playability, while the pearl script headstock logo provides just a little bit of visual edge over its standard series counterparts.

This example, from 2022, is in great shape minus a couple bubbles on the headstock finish and some finish flaking on the headstock where the nut has been removed. Unsure as to whether it’s a replacement or not.
