Made before the revamp of Martin’s Authentic line in 2023, the Custom Authentic series was a slightly more budget friendly, gig-oriented version of the Authentic series that included a non-VTS top, Indian rosewood back and sides (in the case of the D-28) and, not included in the Authentics at the time, a truss rod.

This example, from 2021, is a great, warm sounding D-28 that has a nice character to it, not as loud and brash as some.

In good shape, with some noticeable nicks on the headstock, as well as one or two on the body.
Comes with the original hard shell Harpoon case.
