2005 Taylor 610CE

$1,895.00

Taylor started building guitars in the mid-1970s, when Bob Taylor and Kurt Listug set up shop in California. Known overtime for their consistent production, Taylors are often regarded the standard for “modern playing” guitars. The 600 Series, which this beauty hails from, is nearly entirely maple-bodied guitars to provide a different sound from the usual American guitar offerings.

This 2005 610ce is a great example of why Taylor’s experimentation pays off: It’s a dreadnought, built with a Sitka spruce top and drop dead gorgeous quilted maple back and sides, and thanks to that maple has a much brighter sound than the average dread, perfect for cutting through in a live setting. The neck is hard rock maple, topped with an ebony fingerboard.

This guitar features a 25.5" scale length, 1-3/4" nut width. Loaded with Taylors ES2 pickup!

In excellent shape, barely a mark on it.

Comes with the original hard case.
