Though this 000 was built by Bill Tippin, a Marblehead, MA based luthier whose incredible instruments are constructed, of all places, above a lobster restaurant, there’s nothing fishy about this guitar: it’s the real deal, from its Brazilian rosewood back and sides to its Alpine spruce top (with great bear claw!)

With a 1 13/16ths nut, this guitar has great playability for fingerpickers, or old-time flat pickers in the style of Norman Blake, etc. The saddle spacing matches at a wider 2 5/16ths, making this a nice hybrid modern/vintage style guitar, replete with vintage cutaway for more high end access.

Lovely, precise, loud tone with great note separation for fingerpicking.

In good shape, with just a few dings here or there, and one slightly loose tuner. Just set up.

Comes with the original hard case.
