Made by Martin in 1987, merely 8 years after their custom shop started, this great D-28 “custom” features all the normal specs of a D-28 from the era, with the major exception of the addition of a 1 ¾ nut and wider, vintage spec, 2 5/16 bridge spacing.

The braces on this guitar have also been scalloped, either by Martin or aftermarket. Either way, the work is clean and this guitar sounds huge as a result! Particularly excellent piece of Indian rosewood on this one, too.

Great shape, with normal, expected wear of 40 years, including some scratches and dings. Overall in good condition though!

Comes with the original hard case.
