Built right at the beginning of what many consider to be Martin’s “Dark Age” this D-35 is one of many guitars from this era we’ve had in recently that make you think twice about judging the entire Martin book by its 70’s cover.

Having lived apparently a pretty hard life on the road, this D-35, with its sitka top and Indian rosewood back and sides, features some modifications, most noticeable of which being the replaced split saddle bridge, reminiscent of Lowden guitars, as well as the four leaf clover inlay and John Pearse arm rest.

Condition wise, this is definitely a player-grade beauty, with lots of wear from years of use and missing binding on the back.

1 11/16ths nut, C shaped neck.

Comes with a non original hard case.
