Built in 1945, this Single 0 Martin is one of those guitars you’re amazing is still in as good a shape as it is, considering all that’s happened to it so far.

With a large repaired top crack, side crack, (both previously done, with amateur gusto) neck reset, refret (done by our master luthier Glenn, with professional gusto), as well as a reglued original bridge, cut for a new drop in saddle to prevent the front of the bridge from cracking off, it’s a wonder this guitar has survived at all during its apparently hectic 81 years.

But, survive it has, and, even more miraculously, sounds absolutely excellent, small size be darned. With a nice responsive, even tone, along with a comfortable C profile neck and 1 11/16ths nut, this might be the perfect vintage couch/porch fingerpicker (or even a hint of flat picking, as we like to do on it!).

Original tuners, pickguard. Obviously, lots of wear, but hey, its part of the mojo!

Comes with a non-original hardshell case.
