Built in C.F. Martin and Co’s most famous year, this 00-18, the second smallest size in Martin’s standard lineup, is one of those guitars that immediately justifes all the hype surrounding this period in Martin’s history.

Light as feather, this old gal has had a fairly steady past despite its beat up look, with only a refret, neck reset (with new bridge) and new tuners setting it apart from being all original.

The Adirondack top is wonderfully beat up, with the only structural issues being a reglued center seam split (cleated) and a slight separation of the rosette by the treble side of the fretboard.

This great old example features the sought after 1 ¾ nut, as well as the traditional 1937 forward shifted, scalloped braces, for a ridiculously clear and present sound.

The mahogany back and sides are nice and intact, with just some wear to prove that it’s earned its stripes.
