installations to refrets, neck resets and full restorations, our luthier can

Head repairman, Glenn was born in New York, moved to Nova Scotia, and at age 19, he attended Guitar Research and Design Center with guitar builder Charles Fox. In 1985, Glenn moved to Burlington, Vermont, where he started Schoales Guitars, a repair and custom building shop, which he owned for 14 years. As his business grew, he began training apprentices for high school work study programs. He attended the NAMM Show with Schoales Guitars in 1990. In 1998, he moved to Nashville to work for Gibson Custom shop in the Pro Shop division. He repaired artist's guitars, built custom "art guitars," designed and built NAMM Show guitars and specialized in custom inlay. In 2005 Glenn started working with Gruhn Guitars in Nashville and he comes to us with over 26 years of experience. His hobbies include music, photography, woodworking, sculpture and scuba diving.
