The Olde Town Pickin' Parlor features an in-store full service repair shop specializing in all aspects of acoustic instrument repair. From setups and pickup installations to refrets, neck resets and full restorations, our luthiers can handle all of your needs.
The repair shop works on steel string, classical and electric guitars, as well as basses, banjos, mandolins, resos, autoharps, zithers, and all members of the violin family.

Head repairman, Edward Victor Dick has been a full time professional luthier since 1975. He has built over 300 instruments that include steel string and classical guitars, banjos, basses, bouzoukis, citterns, dulcimers, harps, and lutes for museums. He is well versed in the historical traditions of lutherie.  Edward is also fully authorized to perform Martin and Larrivee warranty work. Edward and Greg German produce the Victor Guitars line of steel string flattop guitars.  Edward also builds classical guitars under the name  EVD String Instruments.     There are usually one or more of these outstanding instruments available for purchase in the Olde Town Pickin' Parlor showroom.
