Martin 000-18GE - w/hsc - $4099 List Price

Martin still builds some of the best guitars around. This particular guitar harkens back to the days of the prewar guitars when steel string guitars were finding their beginnings and their "voice" if you will. It has a vintage look, a vintage sound, but comes with modern technology such as an adjustable truss rod. If you are looking for a great quality instrument, this one is most certainly on our list of recommendations.

This is a standard size 000, with Mahogany Back and Sides and an Adirondack spruce top . It has an Ebony Bridge, Ebony Fingerboard, and has  Prewar scalloped forward shifted "X" bracing. A tortoise pickguard, a fossilized ivory saddle, and a gloss finish. The nut is also fossilized ivory. The Tuning machines are Nickel Vintage tuners . The scale length is 24.9" and the nut width is 1 3/4".

These are fantastic guitars. Certainly a purchase to be happy about. They are top quality guitars with  a phenomenal sound and supreme collect-ability. The 000 body shape gives a warm punchy voice, which in combination with the woods used gives this guitar a great accompaniment sound. It is easy to play and easy to enjoy.
