It's hard to believe, but this month's show marks the 14th Anniversary of America's Soul Live! Fourteen years ago, Timothy P. Irvin and Chris Daniels joined me at the Olde Town Pickin' Parlor with Ernie along as our all purpose picker in front of about 25 folks. Turns out people liked it. It's been an amazing, gratifying run. On Tuesday, March 20, my pals Jim Jones and Scott Buckley will be on board to help celebrate this milestone. Jim is an award-winning singer/songwriter and fine author, as well. The pride of Albuquerque, he's a true troubadour, travelling the Southwest bringing his unique Western vision to audiences far and wide. It's great to welcome his back to the Pickin' Parlor Stage. Scott Buckley and I attempted to write our first songs together when we were 19 or so, and someday we'll finish 'em. Scott is a stunning guitarist and marvelous singer whose songs are true Americana. He has the rare ability to tug on the heartstrings and make you think deeply at the same time. Good to have you back, Scott. We'll have plenty of refreshments on hand, so plan on joining us next Tuesday. As always, reservations are suggested. All the info's on the flyer. See you at the Parlor!
