This mandolin is both unique and traditional. It has a unique look with the blonde coloring, but the sound is a wonderful blend of the bluegrass bark, and the old-timey/celtic/melodic ring. It has a wonderful voice for a reasonable price. It has a spruce top with maple back and sides, a comfortable fretboard and neck, and a gloss finish. Eastman instruments are intermediate-professional grade and are made in China which brings a great sounding instrument at a friendly price.
