Here is a part of Martin Guitar history. This is a 1922 0-28 that sounds wonderful. It is a centerpiece of our shop, and has found its home in the most prominent place in our shop. You can't miss it when you walk in. This is a wonderful small-bodied instrument for a guitar player looking for a comfortable instrument.
This is a standard sized "0" instrument with Brazilian Rosewood back and sides, and an Adirondack spruce Top. It has a Replacement ebony pyramid bridge, an ebony fingerboard, a bone saddle, a bone nut, a rosewood bridge plate, white endpins, a slotted peghead with strip tuners which have ivoroid button knobs. The nut width is 1 3/4" and the scale length is 24".
This is a great players guitar a valuable piece for collectors. The replacement bridge is a bit oversized and it has some wear, but it does not have any top cracks and has not been refinished or oversprayed. It sounds great, it plays wonderfully and has an incredible voice for an instrument its size.
