1998 Gibson RB-3 - w/hsc --- $3200 Price

The RB-3 has been part of the Gibson line since 1923. Originally it was an archtop banjo with a maple resonator. In the 1930s they were converted to the more popular flathead style and changed to mahogany resonators. The RB-3 was re-titles the RB-75 for many years, but in 1988 Gibson reintroduced the RB-3 which is still in production today.

This is a standard Gibson RB-3 banjo with a mahogany pot, and three ply mahogany rim. it has a mastertone tone ring, two concentric rings of binding material on resonator, bound rosewood fingerboard, wreath inlays, a double cut peghead, and single ply binding.

This is a top notch used banjo. It sounds great and plays really well. It has that classic Gibson look, and a great mahogany sound. It has everything a banjo player is looking for, all it needs is that player. For more information visit the Olde TOwn Pickin' Parlor in Arvada, CO.
