Collings "Clarence White" - Mahogany / Adirondack - w/hsc --- $5775 List Price

Collings guitars are some of the finest around. They specialize in bluegrass/folk style instruments but have expanded their production line to electric guitars and some of the finest archtop guitars we have seen. They have been in business since 1986, however, Bill Collings has been doing repairs and custom building since 1973.

This is a standard sized Dreadnought model guitar with an Adirondack spruce top and Mahogany back and sides. It has an Ebony bridge, an ebony fingerboard, a compensated bone saddle, a bone nut, Waverly open back tuners, a Brazilian rosewood overlay on the headstock, a sunburst, and a dalmation tortoise pickguard. It has prewar style scalloped bracing, a large sound-hole and a plain fingerboard. The scale length is 25.5" and the nut width is 1 3/4".

This is a specialty guitar from Collings. It is based loosely around the famous Martin Guitar that Clarence played for years. Although the famous Clarence White Martin is a Martin D-28 and has Brazilian rosewood for the back and sides, this one is a great guitar with an inspiring tradition behind it. It sounds great, plays great and looks great...besides all that it's unique and sure to please. For more information please visit the Olde Town Pickin' Parlor or go to:
